Multiple field in a single cell using Excel template?
Summary
Multiple field in a single cell using Excel template?
Content
Hi,
We have the OBI bundled with our Oracle HCM cloud service. I'm building a tabular report which uses a parent master data model ie. Employee and Assignments (1 to many). However, the requirement of the report is to have a single cell contain most of the assignment records ie. Position, Location, Effective Start and End Dates.
In RTF template I would just create a For-Loop in the cell and place all the required fields there which in effect will have like a concatenate effect when generated in excel.
However, I would like to try using excel template since more formatting is supported as compared to RTF templates. Is it possible to do this via excel template?
EDIT:
Forgot to mention that I'm following the instructions on this post. I have tried creating a XDO field in the data constraint and placed 2 fields there ie. <?LOCATION?><?POSITION?> but I get an error by doing this.
Appreciate any feedback.
Regards,
Allen
