You are mixing things up here completely. Your original question was for BICS - which is a CLOUD product. There the answer is BAR.
BIApps / OBIA is an ON-PREMISES product. There the answer is lift & shift.
Don't change your quesiton halfway through. You'll not know what you are talking about anymore yourself. Stick to one problem. Comprehend it. Solve it. Move to the next.
Also: ALWAYS include a complete and PRECISE specification of the exact product and version that you're using.

Well if this is the current state of the art then you can do it in 17.4.5.
Lift & Shift is for on-premises.

So if I have to migrate OBIAPPS or OBIEE 11.1.1.9 to OAC then I must use migration tool commands instead of lift and shift method ..Please correct if I am wrong

As given in the below oracle document migration from BICS to OAC is not possible through Bar files..Please refer the screenshot.Could you suggest..

In the below links it is about lift and shift method and migration tool for migration BIAPPS to OAC . We are little confused to to go for lift and shift or migration tool..

Have you given up on this thread? Or were the responses you received sufficient or are you still confused about OBI vs BICS vs OACS?
Can you please update and if applicable close this thread? The community lives or dies with active participation and leaving threads as open orphans doesn't help other users. Thank you.
