Create a data source
When I try to create a data source using a file the application is crashing. I did create 2 data sources, I deleted them and from this point I cannot create a new one. It crashes every time.

Yes, I mean "Data Set". Indeed, when I select a file for a data set, DV shuts down.
Where I can find log files?
When you say create a "data source", do you mean a "Data Set"?
When you click on create a "data set" you should get a list of options. I assume you are clicking on "File" (should be the first option) and then you should get a list of files. Is it "crashing" at that point. When you say "crashing" does that mean the whole of DV shuts down?
We can start by looking at the logs that are produced by DV if this is the case and you are ready to do that?

are you using the latest DVD?
Did you uninstall and reinstall the latest version?
Can you replicate the issue on another machine?
That thing must leave more even footprints. ?

Stupid thing, I know, but how about installing into a path without blank spaces?

As suggested in the very first response to your post: re-install
Try pinging Adam and the team internally to see if they want you to run some diagnostic or collect some logs on that.
