Can Not Log Into Essbase Admin Services (EAS) After Installation of OBIEE 11g

Hi,
I have recently installed OBIEE 11.1.1.9 version and I am trying to test the EAS console thru the url 'localhost:9704/easconsole'.
I have tried logging in thru weblogic user and it failed. The same user works fine for 9704/analytics.
I keep getting the error ' Cannot connect to the administration server'.
Is any additional configuration needed to login into the EAS console?
Thanks

Hi,
First the "stupid" question ... is your Essbase process running, right?

Please, follow this troubleshooting:
1. Check essbase service (./opmnctl status):
2. Check status servers:
3. Check your eas (EAR) its up:
4. Check your web console (http://<youhost>:9704/easconsole
4. Check you have the correct Java version, for your EAS
Kind Regards,

Thanks for all your replies.
Yes. All my services are up and running fine.
Not sure which log file would capture this error so that I can debug further.
Thanks

Hello,
Can you attach your "Adminserver.log" and "biserver1.log"?
Kind Regards,

Hi Cesar,
My adminserver and bi_server1 log files do not get updated while I try the login process.
Do these files get updated or a different log file?
Thanks

Hi,
I am able to resolve this issue.
It was related to path settings.
Thanks

Hi,
Good that you manage to fix your issue.
Can you post more details about what you had to check and fix so that other with same issue will find more details than something related to a path?

Gianni,
Once I have added the ARBORPATH and ESSBASEPATH as the environment variables with the EssbaseRTC location, the issue got resolved.
Thanks
