Hi All,

 

I am new to VA. Trying to use Analysis as data source. I am able to create new data source and access the analysis on Select an Analysis window. It fetched the data elements too.

But when I clicked on Add to Project button, it is displaying the error as  "A General Error was found" and the message is "Please contact your System Administrator".

Is it any security issue or the permissions setup needed in order to access analysis? I tried to use Logical SQL also instead of Analysis but the same error.

Can someone help me on this. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Ramus,

    I am having the same issue in a multi clustered environment when using Node 2. Node 1 works without problems though. Did you find the solution by chance?

    I got the same error. But, I realized that my Visual Analyzer homepage has timed out. I signed back in and was able to successfully create a data source. I connected to Oracle as data source, not an analysis.
