There is search field on homepage of OAC, it is similiar to DVD. How can I leverage the same for analysis as I need to see the analysis on Day by Day app. I am able to open OAC instance on Day by Day App.

You keep mixing tools and jumping from one to another ...
Day by Day search bar is to search attributes / measures (either the column names or the values).
You don't display content you develop in OAC in Day by Day, you create new content on the fly by using the metadata (datamodel, sources) of OAC.
So don't jump from a product to another randomly hoping they will just link everything together. Define what you are after and stick to it ...
I agree with you. I was only concerned to know the use of search bar in the homepage of OAC also.
The content you create in OAC can be viewed with the OBI app on Android / iOS. It's not the same one as Day By Day
The search bar in OAC is supposed to search in the catalog, in the data sources and the metadata.
So if you saved your content as "Revenue by product type and department" you can search for Revenue and hit "Enter" to run the search and you must get the results.
I have saved my project and canvas with this name but not getting any results. Please advise where I am missing.
Maybe the crawler doing the indexing still didn't go through it? Not sure if it's realtime or there is some delay (not having an OAC running right now and in DVD I just have "old" content which is found without problems)

Yes, we can do that. But I am exploring to search the analysis using search bar at homepage.
When you click on the search bar and start writing something, do you see the info that you can query the catalog, sources and metadata?
If yes, that's what the search bar can do. As said there is a crawler in the system, and no idea how quick or real-time it is ...
Anyone has any idea why the OAC documentation on custom viz is not available now? I was able to access till last week - https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsdv/build-package-extension.html. Does this mean OAC doesnt support custom viz or custom workbook extensions?
Does Oracle Analytics Server 2026 include AI features such as a built-in chatbot or AI Assistant? If not, are there any plans or indications that these AI capabilities will be introduced in a future OAS release?
