OBIEE 12c Unable to start Obips1 service,Oracle business intelligence has stopped working

Hi ,

I am trying to install OBIEE 12.2.1.0.0 in windows server 2008 R2 machine.

I have installed successfully.All Components are in Up and running accept Obips1.Manually I have tried to start it from Em as well as from command prompt.But every time it is throwing one error like  "Oracle business intelligence has stopped working"please check the attached screenshot.Due to this I am not able to open Obiee analytics.I am stuck here for last 2 days .Please guide me.sawserverAppcrash.PNG

    Hi,

    Had a look at the certification matrix?

    OBIEE 12c isn't certified for Windows Server 2008 R2...

    Instead of trying to do something that Oracle doesn't certify as "must work" why don't you use a certified OS instead? At least in case of issues you can also raise a SR and use Oracle Support.
