Experts,
I'm playing around with the data preparation features in DV 5. I like the obfuscation feature.
Is there any way to apply a similar style of masking over any custom field, such as masking all character with another character or providing a pattern (such as mask first n characters)? It could be part of a data flow or within the data preparation steps - it doesn't matter.

Hello John, the obfuscation logical expression is not yet available for pervasive use in calculations, but it will in the future.
In the meantime, you may manually combine string functions into data prep, or a dataflow, to obtain something similar. Below in the picture is an example
