NQS config file is not updating after RPD deployment.

Hi ,

After deploying the RPD in OBIEE 11.1.1.7 through MBean browser, It is getting deployed in all locations. The Latest version name of RPD is also getting updated in EM deployments as well.

But the latest name is not getting updated in NQS config file automatically. We are changing it manually after every deployment. Can any suggest me what needs to be done.

    Hi Srini,

    The doc says as follows,

    1)Take a back up copy of odbc.ini (and/or odbc64.ini) files in the .../instances/instance1/bifoundation/OracleBIApplication/coreapplication/setup directory.

    2) Check for a duplicate option "Driver" or a syntax error and correct it by hand. This should enable 'commit' to proceed correctly.


    But I didn't find any duplicate in that file to change. Can you please suggest me what need to be changed.
