In Excel, we can make the data labels appear inside or outside the pie and in Power BI as well we have this functionality. Can we customize the placement for the data labels in the pie chart in DV?

There is no option to put the labels outside the pie chart in a workbook. I would recommend posting this idea in our idea lab. It's a good idea. See link: https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect/categories/idealab-oracle-analytics-cloud-and-server
