Is Auto Apply Data option available for read only users also

Summary:

The 'Auto apply data' option in DV helps in selecting all the filters before applying which saves the resources by sending only the required query to database. But this option seems to available for developers and cannot see this for the users who have only view access on the DV canvas.

Is this option available for read only users ?

    Hey Jahnavi,

    Auto Apply feature in my sense is for development only. It limits the DV engine to send queries to DB and get data until all canvas-related changes are done. It helps speed up development. But for read-only this feature is disabled.

    I also thought so but wanted to confirm.

    In my view it would be good to have it for the ready-only users too. As we see too many queries getting created in-between the user selection of filters which burdens OAC server.
