in OBIEE 10g, want to customize cell border of pivot table, for right side of cell should be black and rest sides need to be other color. When trying to set same from Edit Format -> Border setting, at a time it allows to set only one color, rest sides of cell become blank.

When tried to set it from 'Custom CSS Style' by using border-right:   black 3px solid; this border is coming around text in that cell and not to exact border of cell.

Request your i/ps on same.

    Hi Srini,

CSS styles mentioned in link given by you not helping me out. I want to set border of measure column of pivot table. I am trying to do it from

pivot table -> measure column -> Format measure value

But whatever CSS style code we write, it applies on text (measure value) and not on cell border.

    Please suggest.

    Hi,

It can be easily achieved by the conditional formatting.

    Try with the conditional formatting.

    Thank You.

    Hi Mayur,

Thanks for your reply, however, we want to set different color to 2 sides of borders of same cell,

which is not possible from border formatting,

and from conditional formatting, on one cell only one (first) conditional format works, other conditional formats defined are not working.

    Please suggest.

    Hi,

I am using thick line instead of single line to highlight the color. Please check out the following snap I have used different color for the SINGLE CELL.

    Criteria:

    pastedImage_1.png

    Logic:

I have applied conditional formatting on different measure on single cell,

    >>Manufacture cost:

    Marketing Spend:

    and the last one:

    No of Units Sold Out:

Use the same kind of logic. I hope it will work

Mark it helpful if it works.

    Thank You.

    Hi Mayur,

Thank you for your reply, it is definitely helpful.

However, when I am trying to set one side of border in my report, OBI is making remaining 3 borders as blank (no border at all).

Seems you are doing it in 11g and I am using 10g. Is it version issue or does it has any workaround or setting?

    Hi,

Not sure about version because I don't have experience of the other Version.

    Thank You.
