Error starting JavaHost after upgrading OBIEE from 11.1.1.7.x to 11.1.1.9

During the upgrade step where config.sh is running, the opmnctl start process fails.
Running the opmnctl startall manually shows that the javahost process does not start. No logs are created (only a few nonhelping lines in opmn.log) in the jh.log.. and the failure of startproc for jh shows that the log is now being routed to /dev/null.
How can I change where the log output goes as I have a feeling that once I see the log output, the error will be obvious? I've had a ticket with MOS open for multiple days and they have provided no solutions.
Has anyone had this issue or could anyone tell me how to correctly route the log output?
Thanks in advance...
Joel

Hi Joel,
I faced multiple issue while running cionfig.sh. In my case, provisioning.log file helped me identify the root cause of the issue. Did you see anything in provisioning.log file ?
Path : /middleware/instances/instance2/diagnostics/logs/OPMN/opmn
Thanks

On my system it's called provision.log,,,, I viewed the file and there seem to be no errors.
Do you know how to route the opmn start info into the jh.log? For some reason the output after the upgrade is routed to /dev/null and I feel that if I can route the info to a valid file then that should point to the actual error?
THanks for responding.,,,,
Joel
