Add the proper sort order column to the column you want sorted in the RPD.

Hello Christian,
Thanks for reaching out.
Could you help show how I can access the sort order column panel per your imgur link please?
Per enclosed 2 screenshots I have not been able to find where I can enter formula to perform the sort function.
If I access the "New Calculated Item" panel, which Oracle function could I enter to perform sort function to a column?
Best.

In the RPD, the metadata repository. Not in the frontend.

I do not have access to the RPD. Does that preclude myself to perform sort? Are there other ways around it?
Thank you.

You can write a query using LSQL in the prompt itself.
Do you have access to that?

Where in the prompt will I be able to access LSQL editor panel?

Sorry I just now realized that you're talking about an in-line prompt inside the table view and not a real dashboard prompt. In that case you're pretty much limited to what the analysis can give you. Set a sort order for in the criteria tab on "Calendar Month Code".
Sadly with no RPD access and using an in-line prompt you have very limited possibilities.

No problem.
Turns out the prompt is right-click friendly, and doing so open a "Sort" option.
Thank you very much.
