Report that provides a list of permissions for all folders in BI Catalog
Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of): Oracle
Description (Required): There should be a Report that provides a list of permissions for all folders in BI Catalog. This will ensure better controls and will reduce manual effort of checking each folder separately for permissions.
Use Case and Business Need (Required): A consolidated Report comprising permissions for all folders is required to keep a track of folder security. Instead of checking permissions for each folder in order to take a stock of folder security, a user can simply refer a consolidated Report and take required actions ensuring security of Reports in respective folders.

Correct. This would be useful, now we need to see the permissions.
Now we need to click on the report. Click on More and then finally permissions.
Furthermore. I need to check this report by report.
So having one single report/dashboard to see these permissions would be useful.

Something similar was sent to ideas lab in 2019 - but this doesn't appear to have progressed any further.

My customer originally posted up to this Idea in 2019.
Please can we get a current status on introduction of this functionality on the road map, as it seems from the comments this is universally sought after.

Has this reporting enhancement for BI catalog permissions been targeted by Oracle for a specific release?

I'm also curious if Oracle has this on the roadmap - right now we have to click into individual folders and reports to determine the permissions which is time consuming. We're also running into an auditing issue that the individuals who determine permissions are not supposed to be able to edit those permissions in production so the ability to query permissions in production is critical to our organization.

This is a big need for our organization. Reviewing security manually is cumbersome and exposes us to higher risk.
