    As organizations grow and BI content in the catalog increases, managing user access to various folders becomes more complex. Having a comprehensive report that lists all folder permissions helps administrators to efficiently review and ensure that the right users or groups have appropriate access.

    With multiple users and roles accessing the BI Catalog, it's essential to maintain proper access governance. This report can be a crucial tool for access governance, enabling administrators to validate access rights, remove any unnecessary privileges, and ensure that only authorized personnel have access to specific folders.

    This is also needed for troubleshooting when access-related problems are reported by quickly identifying discrepancies in permissions and resolving them accordingly.

    I have been trying to develop a report for this very purpose and can see it is not possible until this idea progresses.

    Its desperately needed for OTBI under fusion SaaS. Its vital to be able to audit security for anyone who does finance reporting, but having to drill down to each object and folder then view permissions in OTBI is painfully slow and can take days if not weeks.

    Hi Oracle

    Can anyone from Oracle be able to tell us if this is in Oracle's pipeline? I've reviewed many different posts on Customer Connect where many customers are asking the same question and also about possible alternative way of doing this but have not found anything substantial that I can apply.

    We've also attempted to connect to the below table but without success - ORA-01031: insufficient privileges.

    Would be grateful for an update.
