DV- Owner of Workbook and Dataset should be preserved while importing in new OAC instance

When we import a workbook, the owner of the workbook and dataset is getting changed and showing who ever does export and import their name/id as the owner not the actual owner who created it, so is the Object ID. Due to change in Object ID, Classic BI reports which are developed based on the dataset are not working in the new environment.
Requirement is, Owner who has created DV Dataset and workbook from source OAC instance must be same in the target OAC instance where we import those. So while importing it is should preserve the Owner name same after import as well.

@Subhakara Netala-Oracle Hi, look, pls at Idea, I have created in September 2021: (still in Submitted status - so without attention of Product Development so far)
This idea is requiring exactly the same as yours. So pls, drop your Idea and vote for this one - to have synergy and more votes collected. You can add your comments/additional requirements to this idea.
Thanks.

@Michal Zima I have voted for your Idea. Before we used to have Edit and Delete options. After migrated to new platform, now I am not able to see those.
Looks like Edit or delete option is enabled for only 1hr. Hope Product Development team review all DV related ideas and take appropriate actions or provide updates on those.

@Subhakara Netala-Oracle At least (if you have admin privileges on your OAC instance) you can reassign ownership of DV objects (data set, connection, workbook) to other user (after you have imported on target environment) via DV console - Manage content. But this is just for changing owner, you cannot change the namespace is not possible.... So definitely deployment (Dev2Prod) of DV objects is very limited with plenty of restrictions/caveats - big space for improvement from Oracle site.

Yes, we can change the owner. However the issue is, we cant change the Object ID. If we have Classic BI report based the dataset, those reports use Object ID as Subject Area. Due to change in Object ID, those reports wont work in Prod. There we are facing major issue.

Yes, Object Id comprises from namespace (which is User Id who either created DV object or in case of Import imported DV object) - so we both mean the same - Object Id = <<Namespace>>.<<Object Name>>

Yes. We dont have other choice except to wait for Product Development team review and confirm.

Hello,
We at Mayo have a few critical classic reports, prompts, and filters created with Datasets, and when someone other than the developer of the dataset migrates to the upper instances we have to go through extra steps which involve recreation of objects as well This ER would greatly benefit Mayo Clinic. Thanks
