Looks like your mds-owsm connection settings are wrong.

    Hi!

You should be able to reach it trough http://localhost:7001/Console -> Home >Summary of Security Realms >Summary of JDBC Data Sources >mds-owsm > Connection Pool

EM is hosted on the AdminServer, which should be running whether the data source is working or not.

Check that the DB your RCU is installed on is up -- that error (The Network Adaptor could not establish a connection) could mean (a) you've configured it wrong or (b) you've configured it right, but the DB is down.

    (c) both are up but the network doesn't let the requests through

You're right, the database is down.

    Hello,

I still have the same error even if my database is up:

I should now see if I configured the DB right ? but i don't know where I can check the configurations, please if you can explain me with more details. Thank you very much.

Ok so that means the DB is up. Now you have to take it to next step and test the *actual* credentials and connection settings that are in use in the mds-owsm connection pool since

    a) I hope you don't use sys to connect and

    b) the connection doesn't go over SQL*Plus...
