OAC: After Log-out/log-in, Redirection To Starting Page Is Not Working

Use Case:

Set the starting page under My Account -> Preferences -> Starting Page in Analytic Classic( /analytics )
Logout and log into Classic home using /analytics URL
It shows the starting page.
Log out and log in.
It automatically redirects to DV page. Users have to click on Open Classic Home to navigate to analytics.

Challenge:

It's not feasible to tell the end users(who do have DV access) that if they perform a logoff/logon, they have to (in a "strange" page for them) open a menu and select a link "Classical Home" to get back to their Dashboard.
