Migrate the specific Objects of OAC (Oracle Analytics Cloud) using REST/SOAP API or CLI

We would like to migrate Particular components of OAC from one instance to another instance using REST API. Currently there are only API available to migrate the entire snapshot of the system.

But we cannot migrate the entire system for the minor changes within the specific components. It would be great if we have the feasibility to migrate the particular components using the Rest/Soap API or CLI.

We are working on REST APIs for catalog objects. Current Connections have support -- similar to your request (albeit not the same). This is worth looking as for connections as we make more progress on these scenarios.

Hi,

I would be very interested in some form of "open" design, where I can export/download an object, or a group of objects, into a file format (json, xml, etc) that I can modify, (maybe) validate and then re-upload to another instance or same instance, overwriting the previous version of the objects.

Ideally, every attribute of any object could be modified.

use case: this would let me work programmatically with the thousands of analyses, agents, dashboards, datasets, etc. that we manage. Upgrade them accordingly to our users' requests adn then re-upload them.

Is that an already existing possibility, Today?

If not, could it be considered for a near future?
