wanted to know which subject area we can use for analysis that can contains details of users like e-mail id , display name or user name coloumns.
@Sourav Bose
Try using SA System Subject Area. This is not enabled by default and needs to be setup. If you are using OBIEE, please refer the below document for details on the same:
https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1221/biee/BIESJ/sa_system.htm#BIESJ3138
hi sumanth,
appreciate the response
are you referring to the subject area of - 'user system usage'
What product (the full name) are you asking about?
Because by default no subject area exists, OBIEE is just an analytical platform but is empty.
From your question, despite the lack of context, it sounds like you are working on some pre-packaged content that come from some other product (and OBIEE is maybe just an interface on top of it).
Based on your reply, the question can be moved to the right category in the forum, or you will be pointed to the right forum if that product is covered somewhere else.
Anyone has any idea why the OAC documentation on custom viz is not available now? I was able to access till last week - https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsdv/build-package-extension.html. Does this mean OAC doesnt support custom viz or custom workbook extensions?
