Hide/show canvas based on user and/or roles

Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):
Oracle
Description (Required):
Add a Share dialog to Canvas properties which allows Author to hide the canvas based on user and/or role
Use Case and Business Need (Required):
We have workbooks with many canvases. A small number of those canvases are irrelevant to some users, so we would like to hide them based on username or role. Our current workaround is to create multiple workbooks where most of the canvases are identical, which is time-consuming.

This is very useful feature, how we can control Dashboard pages(OAC/BI) similar permissions setup is needed for Workbook Canvases as well.

Hello
This is a planned feature on the OAC roadmap.
We are starting with Show/Hide visualization on a canvas and follow up on the Show/Hide Canvas use case.
(Show/Hide visualization is an active project in development as of March 2024. We will share an ETA when we have made good development progress).
Thanks.

Hi,
Just noticed Hide Canvas option now available under Canvas Properties in DV.

Looking forward to having this using parameters so that we can build for dynamic roles in the same workbook!
