OAC Data Replication REPLICATE FROM functionality

Hi all,
durign a creation of new Data Replication under OAC I want to use the "replicate from" field in order to limit data extraction/replication.
Unfortunately, even if I populate correclty the field, it seem that it was ignored by the replica.
An oracle SR was opened without solutions.
Can someone help me in this?
Thx,
Attilio

@Attilio
Please follow-up with your Service Request, that is the best path forward as no one on this forum can review internal details of the service.0 -
@SteveF
Oracle SR suggest me to ask in this community :-)

Hi @Attilio,
Thanks for sharing the SR. I can see that the SR is with the Fusion Procurement team (OTBI team) not the Analytics Cloud team.
If you have not already, double-check through the OAC document here to ensure all the criteria is met. Check the Overview section as well (I have assumed you have since it sounds like it is working, in general, just not honoring the limiting filter).
Replicate Your DataThe Replicate From option only applies to tables that have at least one incremental identifier column defined.
If you select Incremental, you replicate all data on the first run and on subsequent runs you replicate only new data. Incremental updates require tables with a primary key and at least one incremental identifier column.
Top FAQs for Data Replication.
If you are still unable to resolve the issue, then a deeper look into the OAC instance or the logs may be required.
In that case, you have two options. You can request the Fusion SR contact to open a collaboration SR with the OAC team, or you can open an SR directly with the OAC team0 -
Hi Steve,
very appreciated you interesting.
Yes, all the requiremnts are meet.
Can you help me on how to open a SR with OAC Team?
Thx,
Attilio

You can log a service request via MyOracle Support (https://support.oracle.com), or via your Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console (menu > Governance & Administration > Support Center)

Hi
We had a similar issue reported by a customer for OAC (not sure if its you) and in this case customer was populating the From field to a specific date because they only wanted data replicated for past 2 months.
When we analyzed the logs in OAC backend, we noticed that OAC is sending the extract from date field to fusion but for whatever reason fusion was not honoring this from field and extracting all data.
The recommendation from OAC team was to engage with fusion team to see why the from field was being ignored. I think it would be best if you can ask the fusion SR owner to open a collaboration ticket with OAC so OAC team can check our backend logs to verify if the from field is being sent to the fusion request. If yes this should be fusion team to assist further on why the extract does not honor this.
Thanks
Gayathri
