DV: Tile View Show ''50" Tile symbol In The Background When There Is No Data

Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):
DP World
Description (Required):
I created a tile visual in DV by dropping a measure and apply aggregation as SUM by Person Number (Any attribute), When there is data tile shows number but when there is no data it shows 50 by default in the tile background.
This is bit confusing for business users as they understand that there is some data.
Is there any way that we can show 0 by default in the tile background when there is no data ?

Hi,
Not sure is the enhancement is still valid now, as in OAC DV side, I dont see 50 by default in the tile background, instead it says 'No Data Found' for derived KPI metrics.
We see one observation is that when derived metric (RPD logic derived) though it has no data for one KPI it shows nothing (blank image) and whereas in other KPI it shows 'No Data found' though both KPI are derived in RPD and properties for this field in DV are all same.
Does anyone noticed the similar issue?

There are some good news and some not-so-great news.
Good: @Senthilkumar Subramanian is correct; when there is no data, we do not show the icon, the tile will be empty
Not so good: There are still scenarios where the icons is shown. 1) no data element was dragged into the grammar, 2) query error, 3) query cancellation - all 3 will have text to specify the control status.
Good: The icon does not have the number 50 on it anymore
Not so good: it now shows 123 as the icon.
I am not sure how severe this issue is given that there is no scenario where the icon does not appear without instructive text. We'll track this thread for additional comments before exploring alternative icons.

Hi @Gabby Rubin-Oracle , Thanks for the response.
In our case this is confusing as in some cases it shows blank Tile view and in some "No data Found" when the metric has no data for the selected filters.
It will be good to have a standard default display when no data is available for the Tile metric for selected filters.

For no data, there is a user-customized string that is supposed to be shown; I'll need to see why it is not shown for Tile.

We have below scenarios where we see Blank Tile and No Data Found. Please find attached the images shared also in my previous comments.
Scenario 1: When the KPI metric returns NULL i.e., record with NULL it shows a blank Tile view. Please refer attached image for reference.
Scenario 2: When the KPI metric returns nothing not even NULL then it shows 'No Data Found' Tile view. Please refer attached image for reference.
Also, would be good if we can replace 'No Data Found' or blank with some custom messages.

Customizing No Data already exists in the Workbook Properties

Thanks , I could locate it.
Do we have option to apply 'custom message' to specific views like only for Tile view / Table / Pivot view instead of a global one common for all ?
0 -
No, it is currently a single message across all visualization types.

Hi Gabby,
Thanks for your response. Any plan to bring the custom message option for Tile/any other views?

Hi,
I could still see 50 by default in the background when there is not data.
I'm using FAW environment under which OAC is integrated.
Attaching image for reference.
