Request to add Time hierarchies in OBIEE as a default functionality for any date column

In OBIEE Time hierarchy is not a default functionality for any date field whereas the same functionality is available in OAC DV . Whenever we have a date column selected, all the time hierarchies are defaulting along with any date field . Customer is looking for the same functionality in OBIEE as well.

    How about you upgrade to OAS which has that feature?

    OBIEE is "end of life" somehow, OAS is OBIEE, just rebranded with a different name (even Oracle in their support documents sometime still called the first OAS as OBIEE 12.2.2.x). OBIEE is not going to receive any new feature, it does just receive error correction.

    We are already using the OAC latest version. The feature we are looking is in Classic Home version.

    Time-series functions are available for both applications & For Granularity purpose you can able to use the time dimension Hierarchy (YEAR —> DAY)
