Hi
I have requirement to pass variable from dashboard prompt to Non system Rpd server variable, is there any way to do this in OBIEE 11G.

No. Server variables can not be impacted from the front end. Only session variables.

Thanks for the answer, then can we pass dashboard value to non system session variable as input parameter, this is to say value of session variable is dynamic which is derived from sql, can this sql return value be based on dashboard parameter.

Yes. You do that using request variables which overwrite session variables.
