Reg. Drilling Down Union Analysis

Dear Friends
I have created an analysis which has a PIE Chart as the output and appears as below. It is the summary of products across 3 subject area. I have created the hierarchy necessary to drill down and it works fine when I consider single Subject Area.
Since, I have combined data from 3 subject area, the drill down functionality has been disabled. By any means, can we bring the Drill Down functionality in this case.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Prasanna

That's how things work. Either get your information into a combined model or lose the drilldown.

Chris,
Which is the best practice? do you diversified Business Model for each model or having a consolidated single business model?

Depends on your needs and requirements. Doing only the one or the and just saying "This is a best practice" isn't a very intelligent approach.
Hundreds of Subject Areas with one star each "because someone says it is a best practice" = mindless following without appreciation of "why" things are done how
One single Subject Area with hundres of totally unrelated (and never used-together) stars "because someone says it is a best practice" = equally pointless creation of complexity

Hi Christian,
I also have the same requirement like that.
But I have to drill through the Action Links as per the part (eg,BORROWING will drill to the Detailed report ,it will drill to the different reports as per the value.) of the Pie Chart.
Is it possible?
Thanks,
Mayur

It is but still not the most optimal way to do it since you'll be creating objects and actions all over the place which you will then need to maintain.
RPD modelling is the most effective way to retain all standard functionalities.
