How to enable Mobile responsive for my OBIEE dashboard in OAC?

Answers

Hi,
Any chance you could be a bit more precise on what version of the product you are using?
OAC is OAC, while OBIEE is OBIEE. Or you maybe mean what is generally referred as "classic" in OAC (and not DV or Publisher): dashboards, analysis?
Mobile usage of the product generally was done via the app (there is still the mobile app for Oracle Analytics (I believe this is the current name, before it was called Oracle BI).
The normal app (the one you access in your browser) isn't designed for mobile usage because there is just too much going on, therefore the support for "classic" in a mobile browser is limited and there isn't anything such a responsive mode you can enable. Give a try to the dedicated mobile app, that one gives you a better experience.

Hi Gianni,
I am using the Oracle Analytics App and am on OAS, but I am having issues with how it renders on an Iphone.
For example reports created in OA when accessing the mobile Stacked views are all fixed areas on the mobile, for example a text box uses more space than needed even with change in Height etc it stays the same on the mobile app.
Also when accessing an OBIEE report through it when putting the phone in landscape it stays portrait. Any ideas how to resolve this issue?
Thanks In Advance

What are you trying to visualize? You say "OBIEE in OAC" which doesn't exist. OAC is the successor product to OBIEE.
Then you say it's "OAS". Also you say "OBIEE report".
Are you creating publisher report objects in OAC and are trying to view those through the mobile app?
Please provide a precise and detailed description of what you are doing. With the above description we can not even be sure of which product you are talking about let alone which object types.

Closing this thread, as there are ambiguous information for both server-side product, mobile app/browser, and no reply by the poster for over a week now. A new thread can be started if necessary in the OAC and OAS community, or a reproduction by creating screen recording video and reporting the issue to Oracle via a service request with all the relevant details.
For future readers, you can now use the Oracle Mobile app with OAS (previously only available with OAC).
This does not include legacy OBIEE.- Oracle Analytics Mobile Application for Oracle Analytics Server Configured with Single Sign-On using IAM App Gateway (Doc ID 3022506.1)

Hi Christian,
Thank you for taking the time to respond.
My apologies for the bad explanation. I used Obiee before and I suppose I associated Obiee as the Answers side and Visualition side as Oracle Analytics so……..
Let me start again.
We have recently started using Oracle Analytics where I have created a Visualistion using a Subject Area. When looking at these in the Mobile App, the stacked views seem fixed and do not change to scale better within the stacked area/page. A good example of this is a tile or a text box. It gives a Number or the Text we have put , but we do not need all that space taking up to display such a number. Can we reduce the size of the stacked tiles in the mobile app depending on what we are visualising?
I know we can change to use Workbook layout but the stacked view works/looks better when we are doing certain visualations and a manager just wants to glance at their numbers.
Tables/Pivots also don't scale right in the stacked views even if changing font etc smaller to try and make it fit.
Is there a workaround on these problems I am facing.
Also when I am using the Oracle Analytics App to open an analysis that has been created, it stays in Portrait and doesn't rotate to landscape when I rotate my phone, is there anyway of us solving this?
Hope this explains it a bit better.

Hi Christian,
Thank you for the taking the time to response.
My apologies, we have recently started using Oracle Analytics Server and I suppose I refer to Answers as Obiee and the Visualisation as Oracle Analytics so…..
Let me start again.
We are creating a visualisation and are looking at this through the Oracle Analytics App. The stacked view doesn't scale right with certain visualisations. A good example of this is a Tile or a Text Box. It uses a whole stacked tile and we do not need such a big space to show such a number. Is there anyway of changing the Stacked Tile to be smaller so we can fit more of them on a mobile screen?
Also Tables/Pivot don't scale properly either within the Stacked Tile in the Mobile App. Tried to reduce fonts etc to see if that would work but it doesn't. Is there any work arounds for this?
I know we can use Workbook Layout view but the stacked view works better for when managers etc are just wanting to scan quickly over the numbers.
Also we have created an analysis in Answers and when we open that through the Oracle Analytics App this doesn't rotate when we put the phone in Landscape. Anything we can do in regards to this?
Thank you for your assistance

Hi Christian,
My Apologies, we have recently started using OAS from OBIEE and I suppose I refer to OA as the Visualations and OBIEE as the answers. So……
Let me start again
When we create a visualtion and open it in the Oracle Analytics App the stacked tiles don't always scale how we would like it to. For example Tiles and Text Boxes take up a lot of space on a mobile screen when we would preferably would like smaller tiles so we can show more on the screen.
Also Pivots / Tables don't scale right either even wehn we reduce the fonts etc to try and make them fit. They stays the same.
We know we have View in Workbook layout but stacked works better when showing the visualations for managers etc to glance over the numbers.
An analysis done in Answers doesn't rotate when we rotate our mobile to be landscape.
Is there any advice you can give for these issues?
Thanks
