Oracle, please provide the status of this Severity 1 Enhancement. It says it's still under review hasn't been updated since July 6, 2023.
PLEASE make this happen, Oracle. This simple enhancement would make life much better for your OTBI customers.
The delay with this enhancement (Sev 1) adds more to the thought that Oracle pays no attention to ERs and Ideas submitted by customers. Please prove it wrong.

Bug 35411931 : PROVIDE SELF-SERVICE LOCATION ALIAS FOR SEAMLESS MIGATION OF CONTENT BETWEEN ENVS

Severity 1 - Extremely desirable feature

Has there been any progress made on this. We currently have five test environments with more than 500 report links. The only way to ensure accuracy post refresh is to manually change each one. If we do two refreshes in one night, that means we have to touch over 1000 report links.
Please let me know if this is still being considered, and if now, please let me know if anyone has any tips on streamlining our process. This is far too much maintenance post P2T.
Thank you so much.

ORACLE PLEASE ADDRESS THIS!
This bug has remained in limbo since July 6 2023. Is this really a Severity 1 bug?

@Vicki Parker - You could try entering the bug number (35411931) into the search in MyOracleSupport. The bug should be public and visible to everyone.

Since the last update was July 2023, it seems to be abandoned. I'm wondering if there's a resolution others have found? I'll post again to my original request.
thank you so much for your help.

Everyone,
Thanks for upvoting this request.
Please note that we have discovered you can use the construct "https:/../fscmUI/faces/deeplink?" to create a dynamic Action Link - Navigate to URL. Note that there is only 1 forward slash after https:, then 2 periods.
I don't know why Oracle OTBI team has not responded with this as a supported feature.
Note that when an Analysis is sent as an email, this construct does not work because it somehow points back to the App Server rather than the Load Balancer. It would be nice if the email pointed to the right server.
However, when you are using an analysis to display in the OTBI UI, this construct can save significant time when managing multiple environments.
Regards,
Shane

Thank you so much, Shane, for your response. So do I enter that construct in lieu of the production link, with the environment name changed? I'm not sure where to enter it.
Again, thank you very much. This is life changing for me. We have five nonprod environments with more than 500 report links. Post refresh is not pleasant.

That's a great workaround, Shane! I'll experiment with it as soon as I can.
However, I would personally prefer for Oracle to provide the location-alias feature to SaaS/Cloud customers since it is their official documented guidance for on-premises Fusion implementations.
Also, there is a SERIOUS problem with Oracle Development when a Severity 1 enhancement hasn't been touched in over a year. So frustrating.
