this is an image of OAS 7.6 where I make an aggregate sum of the attribute within the chart with no calculated field used, I want to do the same in OAS 5.9 aggregate the attribute without creating a calculated field. can anyone guide me
Hi @muneezaniaz ,
It's not possible to do it as the feature is not available in OAS 5.9. You have to upgrade to OAS 7.6.
It's fairly obvious, and expected, to have new features and changes in a product between versions.
Also keep in mind OAS 5.9 is not supported anymore: it was released in 2021 and support ended in spring 2023.
Sounds like you have another reason to upgrade: have a supported environment, and having access to the new features released in the 3 versions after 5.9.
@muneezaniaz To add, here is the documentation you need to update from OAS 5.9 to OAS 2024 (what is being referred to as 7.6 above). It is the most current update.
Anyone has any idea why the OAC documentation on custom viz is not available now? I was able to access till last week - https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsdv/build-package-extension.html. Does this mean OAC doesnt support custom viz or custom workbook extensions?
