Column level filter through SQL expression should available like Classic one.

Column level filter through SQL expression should available like Classic one. Please see image. It is one of the good option to filter column values. And use it further down
We are able to do same through parameter logical expression but results are limited to 1000 only.

I think upcoming enhancement "Column" parameter will solve this issue.

I have checked it with "Column" parameter .
Same issue. Parameter values selection limited to 1000 only.

Column level SQL filters is much needed in workbook. It is a good option in OBIEE classic.
New parameter binding option works similar to it but it is limited to 1000 values. If limit is more than 1000 , so it is not working fully to replace the existing SQL which is dynamic.
I have raised this to Product management. They said that limit will be increased to 10K. But so far no updates.
Is there any workaround to achieve to bind complete list of value selected automatically.?
Viz is showing listing only 1000. Please see below image. Where as OBIEE SQL expression will filter all values. Please see image.

Filter using SQL expression which allowed to use SQL Queries in classic is most useful feature when we deal with complex filters.
Newly enhanced parameters works similar to it but it has limitation of values output in binding.
@Gabby Rubin-Oracle @Avinash Krishnaram-Oracle Appreciated if you consider this useful SQL expression filters which is available in OBIEE Classic, Tableau and Qlik as well.

The parameter values has been increased to 10K.
Filter using SQL expression is in our backlog, there are few other critical projects in play competing with priority for filters area. Author can create expression filters to satisfy the use case but i assume you want your consumers to be able to see the resultset of the sql query as a list filter.

@Avinash Krishnaram-Oracle Parameters backend search results increased to 10000 but binding values and output resultset is still 1000 only. This is the limitation of list filters causing problem.
I am playing with Expression filters to achieve my requirements.

@Rajakumar Burra Its not the limitation of list filter. From my testing the 10K limit applies only to available values and initial values is max to 1000 only. The lower limit on initial values is set with performance in mind, otherwise it would lead to slow queries / UI response etc.
I am following up and will share more details.
