Have you considered using the responsive layout to manage that? The new mobile update supports responsive layouts, and in some cases, you can decide that the mobile layout will be a message saying, "Dashboard not designed for mobile consumption."

Responsive layouts also allow you to do these types of things, as shown here with MobileWeb (gif) and OA Mobile (video).

Thank you for the feedback on responsive layouts. Our challenge is that most of our existing Analytics is using Classic BI, not leveraging Workbooks, so the experience is not the same. It appears that we should evaluate migrating our Classic BI Dashboards to DV Workbooks.
