    @Gabby Rubin-Oracle

    "Data export is fine, we already have it for Pivot and Tables. We do not do other charts data exports because the amount of data to power a viz is usually small, but if there is a need for data export of various charts, it is something we can consider."

    Is it, though? I have a workbook with 4 canvas tabs that are all pivot tables based off different cost center hierarchy levels. Because of how our company's hierarchy is built out in Oracle, we cannot pull this level of detail all on one canvas. You're telling me we won't ever be able to export these 4 tabs into one excel workbook?

  • @User_CGEVB That is not what I said. What I did say is that while we believe that the request is valid when all charts are pivot or table; we also need to make sure that what is happening and how we are handling charts that are not pivot/table is clear to the user. It is a question of how we will build the feature, not a statement that we will never will.

    @Gabby Rubin-Oracle - Will the feature of exporting complete canvas views in a workbook is considered and expected in the upcoming OAC releases? Expectation from business users is that it will be good to export all canvas i.e., charts/Table/Pivot in a workbook to excel formats to share that to leadership / team as and when required when the report links cant be shared for some security or business reasons. Please let us know.

    Thanks,

    Senthil

    Hi, having the same request from a customer who wants to move from PowerBI to OAC if this feature is available. Indeed, the current version of OAC allows us to export Pivot tables to Excel format, but only the table and in a singular manner.

    However, we are not able to export an Excel file containing all the tabs of the workbook with all the objects (Text boxes, Graphs, and Pivot tables). Is it plan to include it in the roadmap ?
