Hello,
I'm trying to have a look at the AI Assistant but even with a searchable (indexed) dataset, I don't get the "Assistant" tab in the insights panel.
Do we need to ask to activate it on an OAC instance ?
Regards.
Jean-Pierre
@Jean-Pierre Hoedenaeken please find additional information on the AI Assistant here:
https://blogs.oracle.com/analytics/post/ai-powered-experiences-for-analysts-and-consumers
See the paragraph on availability:
"The AI Assistant is now available in all regions to customers using large OAC shapes. Over the next several months the AI Assistant will be steadily rolled out to all OAC customers. The AI Assistant will eventually be available to all OAC customers at no additional cost."
Customers with large OAC instance shapes will have access to the feature first.
Hello @Gianni Ceresa ,
We are starting to roll out to 10+ OCPUs at first.
We plan to lower that threshold progressively each subsequent releases until we can get it to all customers
Cheers
J.
Hi @Jean-Pierre Hoedenaeken Oracle Analytics AI Assistant: Getting Started in 3 Steps! (Doc ID 3048144.1) Per the documentation, https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acubi/generate-visualizations-oracle-analytics-ai-assistant-and-home-page-ask.html

Hi,
You probably already saw this:
Oracle Analytics AI Assistant is being rolled out in phases, based on region and shape. https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acubi/oracle-analytics-ai-assistant.html
https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acubi/oracle-analytics-ai-assistant.html
There could also be privileges involved.
But they don't say what region has it, and what shape can have it (if you need more than X OCPU etc.).
Hopefully a PM has some details on that.
Larger oCPU instances are being enabled first.
@SteveF-Oracle : do you maybe have a number linked with "larger"? Just to have an idea how large it really is 😅
@Gianni Ceresa you might want to ask the question to the PM in the main thread:
Hello @Jean-Pierre Hoedenaeken , hope you are well. If that helps, I'd be happy to have a call with you in our own timezone about the Assistant feature. Feel free to email me directly. A bientot. Philippe
Thanks @Jacques V.-Oracle for sharing that number :)
@Jacques V.-Oracle
If we want to try it out, how long does it take for the feature to be available once the shape size is increased to 10 OCPUs? Thanks!

Hi! I am looking for audit logging for Analytics objects, such as users creating, modifying, or deleting datasets, dataflows, schedules, etc. The traditional Presentation Services component provides such logging in domains/oas/servers/obips1/logs/auditjson.log, which contains audit information for catalog objects,…
Hello Team, While building a Pivot Table view for my report, 2 out of the 4 metric columns contain completely null values. I'm looking for a way to automatically exclude or hide metric columns whenever they are entirely null or zero. Could you please advise on how to achieve this? Thanks.
I'm trying to index a Local Subject Area so I can use it in my AI Agent, however, I keep receiving the generic error below. Request status(500) : error = {"prefix":"DSS","code":50000,"message":"There was an unexpected error while processing this request. Please try again."}
it is observed that in OAC while using case statements the output is not expected.For example if we have a case statment like case when table1.column1=table2.column1 then 'yes' else 'No' end as Attribute1 Now if i use this attribute with a fact-amount column attribute 1|| Amount on a report then we dont get the aggregation…
