The latest in place upgrade in OAS 2023 env to OAS 2024 was done and the import of catalog is failing.
Due to rpd difference in both env, deployed main rpd and ran the command again.

but the same issue : ERR:Plugin:oracle.bi.metadata.lcm.rpdplugin.OfflineCSSPRDMetadataLCMPlugin_preImportArchiveOperation:importBAR StatusCode:Operation Failed

Please provide more details as to what command you are using.

Have you tried replace datamodel to upload rpd? DOes this error as well?

Yes I tried it deploying RPD again, but then also this does not work.

The command for import were tried with and without arguement:

    importarchive.shssi /app/oraclebase/backup/OASBKUP_20241002.bar/1727856299345/ssi.barencryptionpassword=admin11g nodatamodel,noauthorization

This has worked before the inplace upgrade (in OAS 2023). Is there any change in the process in the newer version - OAS 2024 ?

    Hi @Sonu agarwal ,

Can you still access the Snapshots section in the Console page?

If so, I would proceed as follows:

    1. Restore a vanilla OAS 2024 snapshot
    2. Use the datamodel uploadrpd utility to upload the RPD: https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/bi/analytics-server/metadata-oas/upload-repository-command.html
    3. Import the OAS 2023 snapshot (if not already there)
    4. Restore the components that you need from the OAS 2023 snapshot (from the Snapshots section in the Console page)
