Provide a tool so that users can easily find which Data set is attached to which Workbook

At times, users may need to remove old Data Sets as a clean up process. These Data sets can and will be used in DV workbooks and Classic Analytics Analyses.
At this point, the only tool available for DV workbook is the DV Governance plug in but it is not user friendly to allow a user to determine which Data set is attached to which workbook.
For Classic Analytics, there is no current plug in nor tool to determine which Dataset is attached to which analyses. This require manual intensive work if one has multiple Analyses

Extending this idea, it would be great if the tool can also give a list of datasets/DVs that are dependent on a particular connection. This would be useful if we decide to remove a connection. Thanks!

100% Agree with @Narayanan Ramachandran. The DV Governance plugin is somewhat useful for the dataset to workbook mapping (even there it lacks the subject areas and classic analyses) but that tool lacks details on the mapping of the connections to the datasets.

This would be very useful to identify where obsolete versions of a dataset are still in use and aid housekeeping

Agree with this feature!! As the posting user stated, please ensure it works for tracking connections that are both in Classic Analytics and Workbook DVs.

Thank you. This would be very helpful. We have many datasets that we would like to delete, but we need to know if they are being using in any workbook, and ideally in any dataflows as well.
