How to connect internet from sample app vm

Dear All,

I am trying to connect internet from OBIEE 12c Sample app vm. My main machine(Win 7) Connected to wifi network. But i am unable to connect from vm. I am in need of downloading OBIEE admin client.

a)How can i connect to internet from virtual box

b)do i need to install admin client in VM or in my windows machine? Because in OTN i could find admin client available for windows only..

c)If i am installing it in windows, how can i connect to VM?

d)why admin tool is not available in sample app?

    Hi Asim,

    The Admintool exe file is already into SampleApp as it is in every OBIEE. You can find it from the home page.

    The Admintool is windows only, so you have to install it on a window machine (your host one or another vm).

    This is also the reason why it isn't into SampleApp which is a Linux machine.

    You can connect to the SampleApp vm from your own pc by the virtual network the vm is connected to. Just connect to the ip your vm received from dhcp.

    No need of any path, it's on your web interface, in the "Home" of OBIEE.
