Description

Fiscal Document Capture does not have an option to store attachments, like invoice PDF, emails or just some text.

FDC should have a way to attach invoice and the invoices which are migrated to Payables, it should send the attachment too, to keep the process consistent.

The interface should have a way to match the attachments to the invoices created using interface too, for example, a kinda of link which invoices, invoice number or access key for example. Many attachments should be possible to include too.

Use Case and Business Need

Without these attachments, Payables users can't know if the information entered in FDC is ok, according to process.

Here, for example, all invoices should be approved based on compliance rules, but team uses the invoices PDF to validate it.

For invoices without integration with AP, like Bookkeeping flow, don't have a way to store the invoice PDFs, since there aren't places to store and like these kind of files.
