Repository Variables not Refreshing

Hi All,

In report level dynamic repository variable was not refreshing it is showing old data . When we test the variables in RPD initialization block it is showing the updated values but the values are not refreshing in report level. We cleared cache also but no luck can any one suggest on this .

OBIEE Version: 11.1.1.1.7.1

Data Base: Sql server

    What value you set for Refresh Interval in Init Block?

    Proper setting might help you.

    Refresh interval was set for 4 Hrs .

    "Are not refreshing in report level"

    Are you sure that your "reports" (that's "analysis" by the way= aren't simply cached because no one thought about that and you're simply hitting stale cache?

    No, It's not refreshing in report level we cleared both presentation  and RDP cache .

    Does any thing we need to do from RDP level ...?

  • Hi Guys,

    Even Am facing the same issue from yesterday. It was refreshing fine till yesterday but it is giving problem now. Am using the Essbase Substitution variables.

    I have cleared cache of both the servers but no use. Is services restart could do something? Any help would be appreciated.
