You maybe could provide some more details about your question. Currently there is only a title but no content was provided (or got lost somewhere in the submission).

What part of the product are you talking about? DV? "Classic"? Publisher?

Waiting for more details, I can just say that a majority of people (and the good practices in analytics) are generally to keep the same color for the same measure across visualizations because it's a simple way to not have (to read) legends everywhere.

But obviously you are still free to change things, it just require more manual work because the default is to maintain the consistency across the screen by using the same one.

Once you posted more details, you will definitely get some valid options on how to handle your requirement.
