Subledger Period Close Exception 'Final but not processed'

When the PPM monthly close was processed, the subledger period close exception report had several transactions with the status 'Final but not transferred'. This is the first time we have seen transactions in the exception report with that status. Has this occurred to member of this community that have the PPM module? What is the cause and how was it fixed?
