Reg. Delivering Dashboards through Agents
Hi
I wanted to deliver a dashboard to desired recipients' email IDs through Agents. the delivery agent is failing although I have configured SMTP in Bi Publisher.
please suggest how can I go forward

Ok, my bad, apparently the SMTP settings in OAS are still (up to 2024) in the EM Fusion Middleware Control (OAC is in DV console, and OAS 2025 could also be the same).
By default it is available on <your OAS>:9500/em
(Click on "biinstance" and not "Business Intelligence")
By the way, OAS 2022 is out of support already. OAS 2025 is about to be released (in the coming month or two). You should consider planning an upgrade of your OAS to get back to a supported version (right now only 2024 and 2023 are supported, as soon as OAS 2025 is released the 2023 will not be supported anymore).

While going through the logs, I am getting the below error
[nQSError: 75027] Failed to open connection to SMTP Server (host localhost; port 25). AgentID: /users/prasanna.madheswaran/Test

If you want "classic" (you are on the /analytics URL) agents to deliver content, you need to configure your SMTP there. Publisher is separate and doesn't share the configuration. By your error it looks like no SMTP is configured and therefore the default localhost:25 is used.
Depending on the version of the product you are using the location of the SMTP config change: OBIEE required the mail server to be configured in the Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control, OAS/OAC requires the configuration to be done in the DV Console.
