Hello, I've imported new spreadsheet and created new dataset and now I'm trying to use AI Assistant in FDI, but I'm receiving this message.

Is there a documentation in order to enable it?

In that particular instance I also don't have access to Administration console for Fusion Data Intelligence

Thank you in advance!

"The Assistant feature is currently disabled as no language model has been assigned. Please contact your service administrator to assign a language model to enable this feature."

@Raluca Balan-Oracle You must index a dataset to make its data attributes available to Home page Ask and Oracle Analytics AI Assistant.
The error complains about no Language model being defined, refer step 7 and ensure to select a language while indexing a dataset.

    7. Click the Languages field and select the language you want to use to produce the dataset's index.

Important note for those reading along: Subject Areas (like the ones you receive out of the box with FDI) are not available for the AI Assistant… yet. The original poster is asking about loading a data set from a spreadsheet. Data sets are supported for the AI Assistant.

Someone referenced indexing the data set (which is a necessary step, and theoretically you don't need an admin to do, you just need read-write access to the data set).

However, the error message you are receiving @Raluca Balan-Oracle refers to something that will need to be executed by a service administrator in your FDI environment.
They would need to first navigate to the FDI Console and select OAC Console:

Then, they will need to follow along with the steps outlined in this video:

    Hope this helps!

Thank you @Jamie Anderson-Oracle I will raise a ticket to admin team to register LLM based on shared video.

Since I already index several datasets on different FDI environments and I am having same issue, maybe the LLM setup in the video will solve the issue.

Another prerequisite we should check, the env should have more than 10 OCPU to have the Assistant enabled?

I am Oracle employee, but I cannot access this link - How To Enable The AI Assistant Link In - OAC KB172677 ( I receive this message "W4S-101: Blocked by WAF4SaaS")

    Thank you,

    Raluca

@Jamie Anderson-Oracle when it could be used for other data sources, e.g., FDI subject areas. Is there a tentative date or release?

    How to get API Key?

I can only see OpenAI as the option for LLM service. I assume Oracle has a default LLM for this very purpose? How to enable that?

Also, OpenAI api will require a paid plan as per my understanding.

    Please suggest

  • @SERGIO BARRETO - apologies in the delay in response: I don't have an exact timeframe for use on FDI Subject Areas, but this feature is currently in development. I understand your excitement for it! It will be great to see this functionality for subject areas!

@Bharat Kumar & @Rohitkr - If you're only seeing an option to enter an API Key on the console menu, that means the default LLM that Oracle provides hasn't been rolled out to your instance yet. Oracle is releasing this feature in waves depending on your instance's OCPU size.
