Conditional formatting is lost during the migration from the Dev/Stage instance to the Production
Ajinkya Vyawahare
Rank 6 - Analytics & AI Lead
When migrating from one instance to another (Stage to Prod), we use two approaches:
- Exporting the Workbook (DVA) and Importing into Production:
- Downside: Conditional formatting, default filters, and custom column names are lost.
- Copying XML and Pasting into Another Instance:
- Downside: Parameters are lost and need to be recreated.
What is the best way to migrate without losing any information?
