INST-07545: Unexpected Error. com.oracle.cie.gdr.utils.GdrException
Hello,
I am experiencing this error when trying to install 8.2.0.0 version to for our 6.4 upgrade.
Here is the full error message:
INST-07545: Unexpected Error. com.oracle.cie.gdr.utils.GdrException: Failed to calculate dependencies for superseded featureset BI Internal 6.4.0.0.0
I am looking for your advice.

It appears that you're attempting to install the OAS 8.2 version on an existing OAS 6.4 ORACLE_HOME, which is causing the error you're encountering. To resolve this, please follow these steps:
- Create a new ORACLE_HOME: Set up a completely new Oracle Home directory for OAS 8.2.
- Upgrade the domain: Once the new Oracle Home is ready, upgrade the exiting domain to the new version.
- Delete the old ORACLE_HOME: After the domain has been successfully upgraded, you can safely remove the old Oracle Home (OAS 6.4) to avoid conflicts.

Hi Sumanth,
Thank you very much for pointing out my mistake. Yes, a new home has been created and FMW infrastructure has been installed, and will install OAS 8.2 after RCU is created.
