Best approach to build OAC reports for EPM cloud data
Answers

Just like you would do a Smart View retrieve, you need to create a Point of View (POV). Every dimension needs to either be a row, column or filter.
If you have a SME that provided a Smart View retrieve, try to replicate in OAC2 -
Ok, now i have some understanding on this, let me work with my EPM expert and try to build this in DV.
Thank you @Wayne Van Sluys and @Benjamin Arnulf-Oracle
I will update the progress.
Thanks

I am able to replicate the smartview, but how to replace 'Account Name' column with 'Account' hierarchy column from the Account dimension? when i replace it with Account hierarchy column, it says 'No Data Found'. I see you have used this hierarchy column in your screenshot.
Below is what i built so far
Thanks

Remove the Account Name Filter. Drag Hierarchy to Filter and use Selection Steps. You might need to enable it in advanced settings

Ok, will try to find that option and enable it. Thank you @Wayne Van Sluys

Good Morning, I have enabled the selection steps in the advanced settings and replaced Account name with Account Hierarchy in filters.
I still don't see data, i am i missing anything here?

Without seeing your workbook and reviewing logs I am not able to help any further.
I would suggest looking at the Developer tab and looking at the physical query that is being generated.0 -
No Problem, I understand. I will try to find the root cause and fix it.
Thanks @Wayne Van Sluys
