OTBI Assignment Event Future dated positions missing position name/code
I have a report that is picking up assignment changes in the last week, which is based on the subject area Assignment Events Real Time. For future dated changes to an assignment if the position start date is also in the future then the Business Unit name is populated and so is the Post (our label for Job) but the position name and code is blank. Is this expected behaviour and if not how do I go about getting it fixed if it is part of the subject area set up?
For some reason I can't attach the catalog file or include the XML.

Just had the idea to try the Business Title and that is pulling today's data rather than the data from that assignment version. I should probably admit defeat and build a BIP report.

Hi @Diane G123 ,
Welcome to Oracle Analytics community.
Is your issue resolved yet? If no, can you try to use As of date prompt concept and see if that works?
OTBI Report as on effective date — Cloud Customer Connect
Thanks.

Thanks Mandeep, I'm not convinced a date effective prompt would help. This report is in the assignment events subject area and I needed the old and new position name for changes, but I've managed to find enough fields that are set up in the right way to get the data I need.
The issue needs flagging with those responsible for the subject area set up really.
In the past I've been able asked to include the catalogue file or xml but I wasn't able to for some reason.

Hi Diane,
Is your issue resolved yet? Or still you are facing an issue? I can then try to loop in some product team members.
Thanks.
