Clean-up of reports required to not slow down PRD pod or make it even unusable?

In our project we have several reports scheduled via data analytics. Some of them need to run daily and some of them have an output for about 0,5 GB.

My question now is if these BIP/OTBI reports are being stacked up on our server and if we are not at risk that one day our system will become slower or not usable?

Is there some kind of process we need to run to get rid of 'older' runs of the report? For example a report from 5 weeks ago?

If there is such a process can you tell me which one this is?

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Kind regards

  • Hi

For usage metrics, Please review and configure BIP Audit

  • Apart from the usage metrics suggested by my colleague, there is one more thing you can do.

Please look at reducing the amount of data stored in the scheduler tables.
