Doubts about BIEE 12 compatible SAP BW

Dear Experts

I not found documentation to resolve doubts:

1 - What operating systems are compatible to install BIEE 12.2.1.1 and configure it to access SAP BW?

2 - The BIEE 12.2.1.1 is compatible with which versions of SAP BW origin?

    There's no actual version dependence...SAP is just a source as any other. 12.2.1.1.0 knows these two connectors:

    As far as OSs are concerned just check the certification matrix: Oracle Fusion Middleware Supported System Configurations

    I look the document fmw-122110certmatrix-3050412.xlsx ( Oracle Fusion Middleware Supported System Configurations  ).

    Sheet 'Database', filter Database Vender = SAP BW and identified.

    I compare with options in admin tool> Database> connection pools.

    And diference is:

    In database type SAP BW Native the Connection Pool default and not not modifiable is BAPI.

    and in database type SAP BW Native the Connection Pool default and not modifiable is XMLA.

    Then reformed doubts.

    Some of these connection types does not require drives or third-party libraries?

    Yeah they do. Just like when you use OCI you need the oracle libraries installed in the BI server you'll need BAPI libraries so basically you'll need a sort of client install.
