How does the data get restored into a useable format so that reports can be generated?

Hi Team,
Could you please help with the following query.
- Client is running SaaS Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, and a few others.
- Client is dissolving and going out of business
- Client needs to archive all of their Fusion SaaS data. (Most modules, but not all)
- Client has to keep the data for 7 years
- There may be a request(s) for this data to be retrieved by a 3rd party (Gov’t agency, or other)
How does the data get restored into a useable format so that reports can be generated? (The type of report and frequency of the report is unknown at this point in time, and the request may come in at any time over the next seven years)

Hi,
Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community an forum.
Your question is related to the Fusion data, therefore you are in the wrong forum.
Fusion products are covered by a parallel and independent forum:
You may use Publisher in Fusion for reporting, but Publisher is just a technical tool, coming with no data. Data is owned by Fusion, that's why you should ask this question in the forum covering Fusion applications to get a valid reply.
Once you have the data somehow, the format and database you can restore it to will drive your final question of how reports can be generated on it. Your data will drive this question, maybe even requiring you to rewrite fully your reports if the restore format and solution is not Fusion itself.

Hi,
In addition to above response from Gianni, please work with your CSM to see if data can be archived somewhere. Normally, for my customers, we have taken a dump of all required data using custom BIPs and dumped them into an ADP DB and then created custom reports to pull any specific data.
Thanks.
